Popular Jamaican artist Adidja Azim Palmer aka Vybz Kartel has sent a strong message to Kayole gangsters identified as Gaza.

The Gaza members, who had earlier owed allegiance to Vybz Kartel on social media claiming that he was their god, have been terrorising residents for a while now.

Through a Jamaican show host at SoufloTV, the musician distanced himself from the dangerous group.

The host made the video after a concerned Kenyan sent a voice message to the television station, which is very popular in Jamaica.

In the audio, the man urged Kartel to disown the Gaza crew highlighting that they had become a threat to National Security.

“I have been told today about a gang in Kenya that actually worships Vybz Kartel as their god. The problem is this gang is also extremely violent and has been murdering people left right and centre among other crimes,” the host said.

In Kartel’s defense, the show host mentioned that the Jamaican star was against the crimes committed by Gaza members.

Kartel told the youth not to worship him because he was not ‘God’.

“Kartel does not support these things. This is not part of Kartel. Whoever is misguiding these youths should remember that music is very powerful, and what they are probably doing is that they are using Kartel’s powerful music to indoctrinate these guys.”

He added that Kartel himself worship’s a higher being.

A report by the Nairobian indicated that Kartel suspects that a Jamaican living in Kenya could be behind the scheme to mint money by exploiting the poor youths.

In 2014 Vybz Kartel was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his associate Clive "Lizard" Williams.
