P-Unit announce major comeback

They have not been in the game for years!

Kenyan trio P-Unit has announced a major comeback, after taking a break from music.

Speaking to Dizzim in Mombasa during the video shoot of their new song ‘Chocha’, the group that consists of Frasha, Gabu and Bon-eye said that their silence was because of their other individual engagements.

The group said that they also took a break to study the direction the music industry is taking so that when they make their grand comeback, they shall have good things for their fans.

P-Unit denied ever splitting stating that their unity has even grown further and their silence was for their 2018 plans.

The news of the group coming back has come as a surprise to many amid reports of the three breaking up to pursue other careers.

After P-Unit took a break from music, Frasha ventured into politics but later on dropped out of the race for Athi River Member of County Assembly. Gabu continued singing as he headlined a series of collabos with various local and international artistes, while Bon-eye remained partner at the Decimal studio where he continued working as a producer.

P-Unit is known for hits like Kare, Mobimba and You Guy that featured socialite Vera Sidika among other songs.
