WCB signed singer Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa popularly known as Rayvanny has for the first time spoken on former WCB artiste Rich Mavoko’s return, to the music label.
In an interview, Rayvanny who was in Kenya for the launch of Gosip Club said that he has only been seeing Rich Mavoko’s stories as other people have been seeing them.
He went on to say that he is not aware of Rich’s departure from WCB and he was not aware of his intended return, to the top record label. He added that only his manager could help on details of artistes leaving and joining the record label.

Vanny boy further stated that Mr Mavoko is like a brother to him and they talk a lot.
“Kwanza story ya Mavoko naiona tu kama wanavyoiona watu wengine. Mavoko ni my brother Wasafi so kama watu wanaona hivyo nami naona hivyo hivyo. No sijajua kama alitoka pia, na sijajua kama anarudi labda angenisaidia meneja makaem yeye ndio anajua wasanii waliotoka na walioingia. Huwa tunaongea,” he said.
Rich Mavoko leaving WCB
In July last year, reports of Rich Mavoko leaving the Diamond owned label went around, but reasons for his departure remained unclear.

The singer later on accused WCB of unfair treatment and later solved their issues through BASATA, the Tanzanian National Arts Council.
Rich Mavoko later on re-branded and launched his own label which he named Billionaire kid.
