Restaurant owner caught on camera urinating and defecating in competitors kitchen

The business rival was caught on camera doing the prank five times

A restaurant owner caught a man urinating and defecating in the broth. Believing the malicious act was done by the people from the restaurant next door, Mr Jiang installed security cameras in his noodle shop after noticing an awful smell from the beef broth.

China Food and Drug Administration collected samples from the broth and confirmed the soup contained human faeces and urine.

According to The Paper, Mr Jiang and his restaurant rival, Mr Li, both of north-east China, opened a noodle shop and a restaurant at Haikou in Hainan Province, south China.

Bucket

Mr Jiang told Haikou Police that Mr Li's father had urinated and defecated at two big pots. It's claimed the pots were used to keep beef broth.

Mr Li's father was detained by the police but released later. CCTV footage on March 28 captured Mr Li's father unzipped his trousers and urinated into the bucket.

Samples

China Food and Drug Administration collected samples from the beef broth for test and confirmed it contained human faeces and urine.

Mr Jiang told The Paper that there were no arguments between the two restaurants and he usually called Mr Li as 'brother'.

However, he guessed Mr Li's father did the prank out of jealously.

Apology

'They (Mr Li and his family) are not happy that we have more customers,' said Mr Jiang.

Mr Jiang is still awaiting for an apology from Mr Li and his family.
