But turns out, Neomi is on a roll. Having started her clothing brand Style by Neomi in 2016, the now almost three year old line that was started to cater to the fashion needs of the plus sized Kenyan woman has grown massively, boasting of over 16,000 followers on Instagram and counting.

Even though Style by Neomi was initially curated for curvy ladies, now, there's something for everyone with lush designs spanning from gowns to red-carpet dresses to classy every-day wear. Neomi has an eye for detail and goes for contemporary designs, vibrant colors and silhouettes that flatter different body types.
Evidently, the bubbly and ever so friendly Actress' brand has cemented itself as one of the household names when it comes to Kenyan fashion retailers and it's no wonder that celebrities are running to her when they need a stand out outfit.
Early this year, Kenyan Actress, Krysteen Savane wore a gorgeous neon green gown with an African print overskirt by Style by Neomi to the Oscars. Yes indeed, a dress made by a Kenyan for a Kenyan made it to the prestigious event, Oscars 2018. Krysteen and the rest of the Watu Wote film cast had travelled to Hollywood after the film got nominated in the Short Film (Live Action) category.
And now, another dress by Neomi has made it to another international red carpet. Actress and Radio Host Patricia Kihoro is currently at the Cannes Film Festival in France, where she accompanied Wanuri Kahiu and the cast of Rafiki film which was the first Kenyan feature film to premier at the Cannes Film Festival. Patricia has been serving major looks while at the French Riviera but what stood out was the red carpet gown that she wore by Style by Neomi.

Patricia brought her black girl magic to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in an exquisite gown and all we can say is, tres bien. The sheer asymmetrical had gold embellishments and Patricia styled it with a tribal clutch and gold heel sandals. For the hair, she went for a 'lazy' braid updo, and minimal makeup giving bohemian chic vibes.
Clearly, Miss Neomi is unstoppable!
