Survivor: Winners at War was the all-winners clash that longtime Survivor fans had always been waiting for, and the season didn't disappoint at all. From the stacked cast to the shocking blindsides , Winners at War was a wild ride from start to finish, and the eventual winner of the season definitely deserved their crown and $2 million prize.

Going into the finale, there were 5 castaways leftTony, Ben, Denise, Michele, and Sarahand the beginning of the episode saw Natalie win the final Edge of Extinction battle to return into the game. The rest of the finale included three immunity challenges, two tribal councils, and the final tribal council was one for the ages. In the end, Tony won the season and was named Sole Survivor of Survivor: Winners at War.

How did Tony Vlachos win Survivor: Winners at War?

Tony had previously competed on Survivor: Cagayan and Survivor: Game Changers, and while his time on Cagayan ended in victory, Game Changers saw him get voted out on the very first episode. For Winners at War, Tony took the best parts of his gameplaycharisma, intelligence, and spontaneitywhile also allowing himself to be a bit more stable and social with the other players.

And while Tony had previously burned his fellow cop Sarah Lacina during Cagayan, their Cops 'R Us alliance stayed strong through the entire Winners at War season, and they were only separated by the fire making challenge after Natalie Anderson won immunity and forced them to go against each other. Tony and Sarah also knew when to withdraw and when to strike, and they alternatively worked with and against other castaways like Jeremy Collins and Denise Stapley when it benefited them. Additionally, Tony won four immunity challenges this season, just one short of the season record of five.

At the Final Tribal Council, Tony was kind and charming while also standing firm in his gameplay, and he made a strong case for his win. In the end, Natalie got four votes while Tony earned the rest of the jury's votes. Congrats to him!
