4 reasons why wives nag their husbands

Most men who are seated alone in a bar nursing one drink for hours with a wedding ring glinting miserably in the dimly lit ambience are most likely trying to pass time before going home to a wife they consider a nag.

A few women can be considered downright unpleasant to their husbands but sometimes even innocent women get labelled as nags.

The case with this is because a woman has to repeat a request so many times before her husband or children get around to it and gets the unfortunate moniker.

Should you find yourself in such a situation with your spouse and you want her to stop her "nagging" tendencies, you may need to know why she's doing so in the first place.

Here are 4 reasons that could explain why she always seems to be on your case.

1. It's the only way to express her needs

Since most African homes have engendered roles played by couples, a woman finds herself having to ask her husband to do various things. But because these people subscribe to a way of life that doesn't foster open communication, they resort to "nagging" to simply express themselves.

2. They're being ignored.

When a wife asks her husband to do something and he fails to do it more than once, eventually she will keep badgering you about it until you do it. Being repetitive makes her seem like a "nag".3. Disappointment

A wife will express her disappointment by constantly repeating the wrongdoing even when the situation doesn't call for it. Such couples graduate from the school of wrongful communication of couples.

4. Impatience

For some couples, patience is a thing only other couples do. They show their displeasure at every instance especially when a request is being responded to at a pace that's displeasing to them. So much so that the wife has to remind her husband about it every other time.
