Beyonce Reveals Coachella Diet In 'Homecoming' Doc

Paleo. Keto. Counting macros. Vegan. When it comes to the array of diets that celebs lean into on the regular, theres nothing that shocks me anymore. Still, megastar Beyonce revealed the details behind her pre-Coachella diet in her new Netflix documentary, Homecoming: A Film by Beyonc, and Im hungry just hearing about it.

In order for me to meet my goals, Im limiting myself to no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol Im hungry, she said in the film, released last night.

So that leaves nothing? I digress. The mother-of-three reportedly reached 218 pounds when she gave birth to her two twins, Rumi and Sir, in June 2017 according to a September 2018 Vogue cover story. Afterward, she says in Homecoming that she went on a strict diet to lose the pregnancy weight and prep for Coachella in April 2018.

In the doc, we watch Beyonce try on one of her old costumes just 33 days before the big show. She tells the camera OK this is seriously a huge accomplishment because I didn't think I would ever get into my old costume, and I'm in it and I can still move. I've sacrificed a lot, Ive been working hard. She then FaceTimed hubby Jay Z to tell him the good news (#feels!).

This isnt the first time weve heard about Beyonces restrictive eating habits. Back in 2013, Bey and Jay did a 22-day vegan challenge that inspired them to adopt a more plant-based lifestyle. They then began working with exercise physiologist Marco Borges, and eventually created a vegan-friendly line of protein bars and powders called .

An upside to all this restrictive eating stuff? She's still got a good head on her shoulders when it comes to a positive body image. After the Coachella craziness, she told Vogue that she's satisfied with her fuller arms, shoulders, breasts, and thighs since giving birth to the twins.

I have a little mommy pouch, and Im in no rush to get rid of it. I think its real. Whenever Im ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my ass off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be.

Now that's a mentality I can get on board with. Let me know if you want to rendezvous for a snack sometime soon, Bey! BTW: I'm available for babysitting, too.
