Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper , is always listening. She tunes into her patients to ensure they feel safe and comfortable throughout the popping procedures, but she also listens to her fans. She heard all her Popaholics loud and clear when they called for more close-ups on a recent clip.
In response, Dr. Pimple Popper offered up a super close-up shot of a massive blackhead in her new Instagram video. She explains her tactics in the caption: "Had to get up nice and close for this one! #drpimplepopper" You won't need a magnifying glass to see this behemoth blackhead emerge from the depths of the skin. Nope, it fills the whole screen.
The video starts with clear shot of Dr. Pimple Popper applying what she calls "elbow grease." She uses her comedone extractor tool from all angles, but determines the DPOW is a "sticky one." It calls for reinforcements in the form of tweezers.
That's all Dr. Pimple Popper needed to pull the whole black blob out of the skin leaving a gaping hole behind. One concerned fan asked, "Does the skin heal back over? Does the big hole eventually heal?"
Dr. Pimple Popper 's adoring fans were loving it. One enthusiastic viewer commented, "Ahhhh love it! Its amazing how tiny it looks on the surface and its so huge underneath, like little gunkbergs" Another fan wrote, "this was highly satisfying."
