Sophie Turner accompanied new husband Joe Jonas to the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday. It was a big night for Joe: The Jonas Brothers performed at iconic music venue The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, to commemorate the VMAs occurring in their home state of New Jersey for the first time, and they also took home the award for Best Pop Video for their song "Sucker."
But let's be real: Sophie wasn't just there to be a supportive wife. (FWIW: Danielle Jonas was also there with husband Kevin, but there was no sign of Nick's wife Priyanka Chopra in the audience.) The actress is apparently a huge Normani fanso much so that she decided to ditch Joe in the middle of the awards to go dance to Normani's performance with friend Hailee Steinfeld.
Yep, you better believe it was all captured on MTV's Stan Cam, too. The video shows Sophie gripping Joe's arm, while turning back to gesture to someone behind her right before Normani's performance begins. As soon as the lights go up, Sophie pumps her first in the air, and promptly runs past Joe without another word or a second glance to go dance with Hailee.

I mean, some songs are just made for dancing to with your BFFs, right? (Sorry, Joe!)
