Sure, you shamelessly love The Bachelor and The Bachelorette , but c'mon, you know why you're really here: to see all your favorite eliminated contestants take a second (or third, or fourth) shot at love on season 6 of Bachelor In Paradise. But, before it's time to kick back with a mojito and watch host Chris Harrison break up fights in his best linen shirts, here's a quick refresher on the basics.
How exactly does Bachelor In Paradise work?
Former contestants from past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are flown to a secluded beach resort in Sayulita, Mexico. They swim, lay out, party, and get to know each other in, quite literally, ~paradise~. Over the course of each week, they also get opportunities to take anyone they want on romantic Bachelor-style dates outside the resort.
Later in the week, there's a rose ceremony, where either the men or the women will each hand out one rose to someone they can see potential with (the power switches back and forth each time). Since there's always an uneven number of men and women in the group, whoever is left without a rose at the end of the night must pack their bags and return home to what fans can only assume is a fruitful career selling hair vitamins on Instagram.
Oh, and as the show progresses, more former contestants will move into the resort to take a chance on love and not-so-accidentally throw a wrench into Paradise's already-budding romances.

Um, do people **actually** find love on this show?
Believe it or not, Paradise arguably has a better track record than any of its predecessors. Two couples who met on previous seasons of the show-Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, and Carly Waddell and Evan Bass-are now happily married with children. The most recent season produced three couples that are still together, including Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone, who got engaged on the finale. So while it may seem like a crazy premise, the romance is actually very real!

When and where can I watch Season 6?
Best news ever: This season of Bachelor in Paradise is premiering even earlier than it usually does. While past seasons have started in early August, you'll be lucky enough to obsess over season six beginning on Monday, July 29 at 8:00 p.m. Episodes will air every Monday from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
You can watch the show on its home network of ABC, on ABC's website with a cable login, or on Hulu.
Who will be in the new cast?
It's hard to know for sure until filming begins in Mexico in early June, but you can safely bet that a large percentage of the cast will be chock full of recent rejects from Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette and Colton Underwood 's season of The Bachelor.
Anything can happen in Bachelor Nation (as all die-hard members already know), but fan favorites from Colton's season such as Demi Burnett, Tayshia Adams, Hannah Godwin, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Kirpa Sudick, and Onyeka Ehie seem like a sure thing right now.

Reality Steve , the king of Bachelor spoilers, also has some ideas about who else will be hitting the beach this summer. The biggest rumor he's heard is that franchise veteran Chris Bukowski-and by veteran, I mean he's been on two seasons of The Bachelorette, one season of now-defunct spinoff Bachelor Pad, and two seasons of Paradise-is possibly joining the new cast. You may also see some familiar faces from earlier seasons, like Blake Horstmann, Kristina Schulman, Dean Unglert, Jordan Kimball, and Danielle Lombard.
While you (im)patiently wait for the official cast of Bachelor in Paradise season 6 to be announced, at least you can obsess over all the eye candy on The Bachelorette in the meantime.
