Because she has ADHD, Meghan says that having a routine is a big part of making sure she's the most productive she can be throughout the day. She's an early riser, starting her day at about 7:30 with a cup of hot water and apple cider vinegar. (In the video Meghan explains that she has a "sensitive tummy," so this water-vinegar combo helps keep any morning nausea at bay.)

You'll see that Meghan prefers to get her workouts in right after waking up. She hasn't been able to attend any of her favorite classes since quarantine started, but she's found a great solution. "My best friend actually got me into these home workouts by Ob fitness ," Meghan says. The site has online classes that range from strength to cardio-focused, which gives her tons of variety to choose from each day.

For lunch, Meghan gives us her recipe for making a quick, protein-packed smoothie. Here's what you'll need:

  • Your milk of choice (Meghan uses almond!)
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • A spoonful of chia seeds
  • Half an avocado or a some almond butter (Meghan says any kind of fat is great!)
  • A handful of frozen strawberries

Next, she tackles the work she needs to get done which, according to her, can vary day-to-day. Whether it's working on her podcast, videos, or writing, she's always got plenty on her plate to accomplish.

"Something that helps me stay productive throughout the day is really giving myself the allowance and the ability to have breaks," she explains. "If you give yourself those mental and physical breaks, I think it makes the work day go by so much faster and you're so much more productive in it." (This could be helpful for those of you who are also WFH right now.)

When it comes to her nighttime habits, Meghan tends to go to bed on the later side. "I'm guilty of staying up way too late sometimes. I have a really hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, so I recently started taking melatonin." She also sips tea before bed to help her chill out and "turn her brain off."

You get it, Meghan's all about her morning, noon, and night routine. Watch the video above for all her tips and tricks throughout the day. You might find some you can put into practice, too.
