Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced an auction of aircraft abandoned at Wilson Airport.
In an advertisement placed in local dailies on Tuesday, KAA indicated that a BE 55 Baron, which can carry 40 people will be auctioned at a reserve price of ksh94,000.
Notably, the aircraft cannot be used to fly.
The most expensive aircraft is a Hulanda, registration 5H-KLA belonging to Tandill Limited which will be sold at Ksh10,045,000.
“All purchasers are required to pay a deposit of Sh 100,000 for the items to be auctioned before the auction date,” the KAA advert read.

In the advertisement, the authority said it will auction the aircraft on August 9, with interested bidders being invited to view them this Friday.
Fly 540 will lose their F27 aircraft registered 5X-FF whose reserve price is Ksh481,400.
Profile investment, Safe Air Company, IAP Group Australia, Kenya Racing Team, Air Kenya Express, Arvin Pahwa/Queensway Air Express, Knight Aviation and Phoenix are some of the other companies whose aircraft will be auctioned.
All buyers are required to pay a deposit of Ksh100,000 before the auction date.
KAA said that where the bid price is lower than the deposit price, the bidder will be refunded the difference.
