Ken Okoth's mother arrives in Kibra to cast her vote

Angelina Okoth, Mother to the late Kibra MP - Ken Okoth, arrived at Kibra Primary School polling station to cast her vote.

Her son Bernard ‘Imran’ Okoth is seeking to succeed his late brother who succumbed to cancer in July.

Before joining politics, Bernard was his brother’s personal assistant and also served as the national constituency development fund manager.

Earlier on, the wife wife of the former Kibra MP Ken Okoth, Monica Okoth, cast her ballot at Old Kibra Primary School.

ANC Party's candidate in Kibra Constituency by-election Eliud Owalo cast his vote around 10:30am at Old Kibra Primary School.

Speaking to the press during the Thursday exercise Owalo said he is satisfied with the progress of voting.
