KTN Point Blank presenter Tony Gachoka was on Thursday charged with being a public nuisance at the Kwale Law Courts.
Mr Gachoka had been arrested at an airstrip in Diani on Wednesday evening after causing a scene while allegedly intoxicated.
According to Msambweni OCPD Nehemiah Bitok, Gachoka disagreed with Silverstone staff as he insisted to board his flight to Nairobi with alcoholic drinks at hand.
Mr Gachoka denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Joe Omido and was released on a cash bail of Sh50,000.
The suit will be head on October 25, 2019.
Gachoka's personal life
Away from the public glare, Gachoka has led a controversial life riddled with family scandals.
He is said to have taken out a Sh100 million loan from Trust Bank with part of his family's assets as collateral.
The move set him at loggerheads with his own mother.
He has also been accused of being hostile to his wife and neglectful of his children, though he maintains that he and his wife are cordial even though she lives in her own house, separate from him.
