DCI addresses Senator Omtatah's claims on alleged abduction

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has denied any involvement in the alleged abduction of Gideon Kibet, following claims made by Senator Okiya Omtatah Okoiti.

Senator Omtatah alleged that a white Subaru vehicle, purportedly linked to the DCI, was involved in Kibet's abduction. In response, theDCI stated.

The suggestion that a vehicle belonging to the DCI was involved in any alleged abduction is not only unfounded but also sensationalises a sensitive issue that is currently under thorough investigation.

Emphasising adherence to constitutional and legal frameworks, the DCI reiterated that all police operations are conducted within the law.
