Strange Man Spotted at the scene where Nyeri Governor Died [Photos&Videos]

Who is this strange man?

Kenyans on Tuesday were quick to notice a strange man present at the scene of the nasty road accident that killed Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru.

Two accidents, same witness

One Dennis Muigai Ngengi gave his eye-witness account to Citizen TV as he alleged to have been present during the whole tragedy.

According to Ngengi he was also headed to Nairobi when the late Governor, who was being driven for an interview in the City, was involved in the deadly accident.

Rachel Ruto is no stranger to making bold yet elegant fashion statements, but during the state visit of the Dutch royals on March 18, 2025, it wasn’t just her outfit that stood out—it was her shoes. The Kenyan First Lady stepped out in a pair of brown suede block heels adorned with a gold emblem.

He divulged that he even talked to Governor Gakuru after the crash

However, what caught the attention of many Kenyans is the fact that Mr. Ngengi was also present after the Lake Nakuru chopper crash which happened on October 21, 2017, killing 5 people.

During the chopper crash, the peculiar eye-witness identified himself as a state pilot and friend to the deceased pilot Apollo Malowa.

In both instances he was donning his signature detective-like sunglasses.

When the clips of his witness account were shared on social media a section of the public made controversial comments (which we cannot publish) while others noted it was a mere coincidence.
