Kenya Airways celebrates history made with plane donation

KQ noted that history was made with the donation that was delivered on Sunday.

We are making history with the donation of a Boeing 737 to @manguhighschool, inspiring the next generation of aviators! In attendance are Archbishop Rev. Philip Anyolo, Mang’u Principal John Kuria, Dr. Wilfred Kiboro (Nation Media Group Chair), KQ Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer Hellen Mathuka, and excited Mang’u students.

With the aircraft, Mang’u sets a new benchmark for secondary school aviation training in Africa.

KQ first broke news of the donation in September last year, highlighting its significance.

Final touches, including branding were put on the decommissioned plane that embarked on its journey to the school on Sunday.
