Billionaire reveals brokers selling CS positions in Uhuru's cabinet

Flamboyant billionaire, who is also COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has now revealed that cabinet positions are now being sold by brokers.

Atwoli stated that power brokers close to President Uhuru Kenyatta have been selling CS positions to politicians who lost in the last General Election.

"Weak leader"

The COTU boss called on the President to stop being "a weak leader" and expedite the formation of a full cabinet.

“If the cabinet takes him three weeks to set up, Uhuru is a weak leader. He should not exhibit his weakness by delaying to name the cabinet."

“Uhuru should not exhibit his weakness. How can it take the President more than three to four weeks to come up with a Cabinet? It is a worrying state of affairs for a man who says he was overwhelmingly voted into office,” Atwoli remarked.

Service delivery

He added that Kenyatta's failure to state the fate of some of his CSs had affected service delivery as many officials remained anxious about their sacking or retention.

The COTU Secretary General spoke in Kakamega where he had attended a funeral.

During the New Year, the head of state promised to name his cabinet in the coming "few weeks" but did not give a definitive timeline.
