Piotr Lukasz Litwiniuk, a foreign national residing in Kenya was on Tuesday released from police custody after an incident at Deputy President William Ruto's private residence.

Mr Lukasz flew a drone into the DP's compound last week leading to his arrest.

Piotr was arraigned in court and charged with four counts of importing and operating an unmanned aircraft.

The Polish national was also charged with operating a drone without proper permits from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).

The suspect denied all charges seeking to have them altogether dropped.

He was on Tuesday released on Sh200,000 bail.
