Nairobi Governor reveals list of Notorious land grabbers in the city

Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has released a list of alleged notorious land grabbers who have been grabbing prime properties in the city.

According to the Governor, in the past three years over 10 families have lost their properties to cartels.

The list mentioned by the governor comprises of city businessmen and lawyers, among them Raju Sanghani, Dr Kidero’s cousin - Emmanuel Okello and lawyer Tom Onyango among others.

“It's so sad to lose a family property to cartels. This kind of grabbing won't be entertained anymore in Nairobi. *LAND GRABBERS AND CARTELS WILL NOT BE SPARED.” Said Sonko in a Facebook Post

He added that cartels have been taking advantage of property owners who have not cleared their land rates arrears.

“If you are the owner, kindly counter check your last payment receipt and confirm whether it’s true you have not paid land rates. Such dirty games won’t go on under my leadership as Governor of Nairobi” advised Sonko.
