Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale on Tuesday night was put on the spot by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria when he accused him of conducting abortions.
Khalwale, who is a trained medical doctor, was hit with the remark after claiming that Kuria appeared for the interview under the influence of alcohol.
“I wish we had put an alcoblow at the door before we came in,” Khalwale took a jibe at Kuria.
In response, the Gatundu South lawmaker said: “Before you were conducting abortions as a young doctor I was still in politics.”
On Wednesday morning, Khalwale came out to explain why Kuria accused him of conducting abortions.
“ I didn't get what Moses Kuria meant about you performing abortions ,” one tweep asked.
“It is an old ruse meant to mischievously portray doctors as unethical & murderers,” the former Kakamega Senator said dismissing Kuria's allegations.
