Witness interference

The judge also ruled that Obado being a Governor and a man who rose to power through politics he had a likelihood of interfering with witnesses’ accounts.

In applying for the bail, Obado's lawyer Cliff Ombetta argued that that his client would comply with all the orders of the court ant that he would not influence the witnesses if released on bail.

Obado on Monday denied charges of killing his 26-year-old girlfriend Ms Sharon Otieno.
