Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has sensationally claimed that a Governor was busted at a house belonging to one of the suspects arrested in connection to the Sh9 billion NYS scandal.
On his Twitter account, Kabogo stated that officers assigned to the Asset and Recovery Agency had gone to claim a palatial house belonging to a high-profile suspect.
He added that on arriving at the scene, they realised that a sitting governor was occupying the house's master bedroom.
The former Kiambu Governor has challenged the Asset and Recover Agency to come clean on the incident.
"Asset and recovery Agent must tell Kenyans which Governor they found at a palatial home belonging to an NYS suspect. They found him/her sleeping in the master bedroom. They abandoned their mission only to come back and find the hse vacant," Kabogo stated.
