Mohammed Abduba Dida was born in Kenyas Wajir District in 1975.
A former teacher, Dida is making a second move for the presidency through the Alliance for Real Change party, a member party of TUNZA coalition. His running mate is Prof George Wajackoyah, a coalition party partner leader, and law scholar.
Dida, who is returning for the second time to make his move at the presidency, has vowed to be a president who focuses on the poor and rooting out corruption. He opines that basic education should be free for all Kenyans, and not based on a subsidy system.
He is Bachelor's degree in Education holder from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Religious Studies from the University of Nairobi. Dida once taught at Dadaab (North Eastern Kenya) and Lenana (Nairobi) secondary schools.
