The suspected terrorists who attacked Dusit Hotel had been visiting the establishment ahead of Tuesday’s incident, multiple eye witnesses have said.

A hawker who operates near the hotel said the driver of the Toyota KCN 440E had frequented the area over the past three weeks.

The eye witness said the driver was a well-built man who gave him Sh100 to check his car.

Another witness said he had seen the same vehicle was seen in the area being driven by different people.

Garden Restaurant

On Tuesday, the attackers are said to have waited on the junction leading to Dusit Hotel for about thirty minutes.

They then forced their way into the establishment after an explosion near the garden restaurant, suspected to have been the work of a suicide bomber.

The incident has come on the third anniversary of the El Adde attack that left at least 78 KDF soldiers dead.
