Akothee’s latest performance brings city to a standstill (Photos)

She shut it down!

Self-proclaimed president of single mothers Akothee shut it down at her Chrome Mega Bash performance in Kisumu this past weekend.

Clad in a gold ensemble and gold boots to match, Akothee thrilled the crowd with her hit singles including Benefactor and Oyoyo; which featured Nigerian artist MC Galaxy.

Her energetic dance moves kept the audience hooked throughout her performance.

The Madam Boss wasn’t the only one who killed the stage that night as Ohangla musician Musa Jakadala proved to be a crowd favorite seeing that the audience demanded for him to come back on stage after his set.

He electrified the crowd with his performance, being backed up by his equally energetic dancers.

The King of Genge, Jua Cali gave the crowd a taste of his new music, performing his latest single Najitoa, off his fourth upcoming album Mali ya Umma. He also performed his club banger Kiasi.

King Kaka also took to the stage that night, performing a new single Mistarilionaire  and finishing his performance with Amos and Josh’s Tutaonana Baadaye which he featured in.

Timmy T Dat closed the show at around 3am on Sunday morning.

Commenting on the concert, KBL Head of Spirits, Anne Joy Muhoro said that Chrome Vodka has recorded tremendous growth since Sauti Sol came on board in February last year.

“The brand association with reputable musical artists has strengthened Chrome’s credibility and consumer affinity showcasing the drink as affordable, premium quality vodka. Together, we created a unique platform that resonated powerfully with our target consumer and they responded to it remarkably. We hope to continue the trend in 2018 where will further create memorable moments and experiences for our loyal consumers,” explained Mrs. Muhoro.
