The '<a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-tesla-leave-the-world-behind-netflix-2023-12">Leave the World Behind</a>' actor recently opened up about her career, her marriage, and what it's like to get older in a <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/julia-roberts-british-vogue-cover-interview">British Vogue</a> interview by her friend, 'Notting Hill' screenwriter Richard Curtis.

When Curtis asked what Roberts' secrets to "eternal youth" are, she joked about "pickling" her head in a jar every other week, before giving a proper response.

"Good genes, leading a life that is fulfilling, and I have said this — and I say it usually as kind of a joke — but I do believe in the love of a good man," Roberts said.

She added that her husband, cinematographer <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/julia-roberts-husband-danny-moder-relationship-timeline-photos-2022-7">Danny Moder</a>, loves and cares for her in a manner that makes her "feel deeply, deeply happy."

"And anytime you see someone who's happy, it <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/blue-zone-residents-longevity-secrets-traits-2019-12">doesn't matter how old they are</a>," Roberts said.

She then recounted a piece of wisdom that French actor Anouk Aime once shared with her.

"Anouk Aime said to me, many years ago when I was very young and it didn't occur to me that I would ever have a <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-get-rid-of-forehead-wrinkles-dehydration-lines-2023-4">wrinkle</a>, 'You live your face in your life until you're 50, and then you live your life on your face,'" Roberts said.

Roberts and her husband Moder first met on the film set of 'The Mexican', and have been married since 2002. They have three children who are in their teens: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and Henry.

Elsewhere in the interview, Roberts also shared how grateful she was to be able to stop working to focus on her family because she had already achieved success in her career.

"So by the time I had the success of my family life and had a husband and children who wanted to stay home, I had been working for 18 years," Roberts said. "I didn't have to pick one or the other."

The two singers revealed on The Hollywood Reporter's&nbsp;'<a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O88CrYUPW2M&amp;ab_channel=TheHollywoodReporter">Songwriters&nbsp;Roundtable</a>' that they aren't fans of singing karaoke.

In a conversation hosted by Yvonne Orji, the stars — alongside fellow songwriters Cynthia Erivo, Jon Batiste, Julia Michaels, and <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/olivia-rodrigo-manifesting-new-single-vampire-2023-9">Olivia Rodrigo</a> — were asked about their go-to karaoke song.

When it was Lipa's turn to respond, the 'Dance the Night' singer admitted that she doesn't enjoy karaoke.

"I hate singing at karaoke. My friends hate it. So it's all a bit weird, but I do 'Changes' by <a href="https://www.insider.com/jada-pinkett-smith-says-no-chemistry-between-her-and-tupac-2023-10">Tupac</a>," Lipa said.

As for Eilish, she declared during her turn — to everyone's surprise — that she's "never done karaoke."

The '<a href="https://www.insider.com/billie-eilish-barbie-music-video-real-outfits-2023-7?_gl=1*z8j3kd*_ga*MTkyMjM0ODQ2Ni4xNjY4MDUyNjEz*_ga_E21CV80ZCZ*MTcwNDI1MTA3OS4xMTY3LjEuMTcwNDI1MTI2MS4xOC4wLjA.">What Was I Made For</a>' singer then clarified that while she had a karaoke speaker she used when she was six, she had never sung karaoke "while standing on a stage."

"I just feel like, 'Haven't you heard enough of me singing onstage?'" Eilish said. "I don't know, like I was at a party, and they had karaoke, and they were like, 'Billie, you should do it.' And I was like, 'You don't need me to do that.'"

In the conversation, Eilish also opened up about having writer's block before she received a call from <a href="https://www.insider.com/greta-gerwig-says-her-catholic-upbringing-influenced-barbie-scenes-2023-7">Greta Gerwig</a> to write a song for the '<a href="https://www.insider.com/barbie-details-references-easter-eggs-missed-2023-7">Barbie</a>' movie soundtrack.

"It was a period of time when I just had nothing. I had nothing to say, I didn't know how to say what I thought I could say, and we really hadn't written anything in a minute," Eilish said, referring to herself and her brother, the songwriter <a href="https://www.insider.com/who-is-finneas-oconnell-billie-eilish-brother-producer-cowriter">Finneas</a>.

"I honestly was concerned that it was over for me," she continued. "I was honestly like, 'Damn, maybe I hit my peak and I don't know how to write anymore?'"

Thankfully, the request from Gerwig brought her out of her slump and even inspired her to write "so much more after that," Eilish added.

You won't be catching Dua Lipa or Billie Eilish at a karaoke party anytime soon. Both singers said they're not into karaoke on The Hollywood Reporter's 'Songwriters Roundtable'.

Speaking to People in a new interview, the media mogul says she's over with the shame that comes with admitting that she uses these pharmaceutical aids.

"I'm absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself," Winfrey told People.

"The fact that there's a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for," Winfrey continued.

In July, the 68-year-old hosted a panel called Oprah Daily's "The Life You Want Class: The State of Weight" where she discussed weight loss and obesity with medical specialists.

For her, that discussion marked the turning point in her perspective towards these <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/zepound-eli-lilly-weight-loss-drug-cost-cheaper-than-wegovy">weight-loss drugs</a>, she told People.

"I had the biggest aha along with many people in that audience," Winfrey said, adding that she had been blaming herself for being overweight without realising that she had a predisposition "that no amount of willpower is going to control".

While she opted not to name the specific drug she takes, Winfrey admits that she uses the medication here and there.

"I now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing," she said.

However, she's adamant that the <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/why-do-weight-loss-drugs-stop-working-ozempic-plateau-explained-2023-12">weight-loss drug</a> is only good if she also exercises and watches her diet.

"I know that if I'm not also working out and vigilant about all the other things, it doesn't work for me," Winfrey said.

Above all, Winfrey says that her <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tracking-macros-walking-diet-lost-over-hundred-pounds-2023-12">weight loss and fitness progress</a> has allowed her to lead a "more vital and vibrant life."

"In Hawaii, I live on a mountain, and there's this big hill — I used to look out the window every morning and say, 'God, one day I want to walk up that mountain.' Last year over Christmas I did it . . . It felt like redemption," she added.

There has been a lot of buzz around weight-loss drugs like <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/how-ozempic-wegovy-actually-work-telling-brain-to-feel-full-2023-3">Ozempic and Wegovy</a> in the past year.

Also known by its generic name semaglutide, the medication <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/what-is-ozempic-glp1-drugs-developed-by-gila-monster-2023-3">regulates hunger signals</a> and allows people to feel full while eating less.

However, the weight-loss drug has <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/doctors-say-should-know-weight-loss-drugs-ozempic-semaglutide-wegovy-2023-3">side effects</a> such as nausea, diarrhea, and constipation. Some patients also reported feeling <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/semaglutide-ozempic-disgusted-favorite-foods-2022-11">disgusted by the foods they used to enjoy</a>, while others say it made cigarettes taste "disgusting".

In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, the 48-year-old actor opened up about her struggles with fame and the pressure to live a public life.

"I wouldn't be an actress today," Jolie told WSJ. "When I was starting out, it wasn't as much of an expectation to be as public, to share so much."&nbsp;

She added that being an actor also meant that the public chooses "how they want you." In her case, they like the fun parts of her — but not her emotional sides.

"Since I was young, people liked the part of me that's pretty tough and maybe a bit wild — that's the part that I think people enjoy," she said. "I'm not the one you want to hear about my pain or my sadness. You know, that's not entertaining."

The constant media scrutiny also made it hard for her to spend as much time with her children as she'd like.
