My makeup artist, Lisa Aharon, taught me that a bold, poppy lip can make you look awake and alive no matter how dead and tired you feel on the inside. We use a lot of reds on the show, but Im more of a pink girl in real life.

I have really sensitive skin, so I keep my routine super simple. In the morning I use Cetaphils gentle cleanser, then I follow it with Vintners Daughter serum. Thats pretty much it.

My schedule is crazy, so I try to find a balance between resting and working out. I do SoulCycle and yoga, and I also like changing it up. I got a gym membership to Equinox and went to this class called MetCon3. Its just as hardcore as it sounds. I peeled myself off the floor at the end and was sore for about a week, but Id go back.

We shoot Maisel in the summer, yet on the show, its technically fall. So I have to wear head-to-toe wool and a wig in the NYC heat. Ill be sweating profusely, so they keep powdering my face. Then my skin breaks out. This clay mask has been really helpful. I get nervous about using purifying products on my sensitive skin, but it doesnt get cakey or dry.

I focus on skin care, so I can wear less makeup when Im not shooting. I typically just throw on some concealer with my fingers or a beauty blender. Once I find a product I like, I stick with it for a long time. Ive been using this Nars concealer for years.

My character, Miriam, genuinely takes great pleasure in putting on her face each morning. I think beauty in the 1950s was more about making yourself look like someone else. Thats not how I approach it today. I like to look like myself.

Im a natural blonde, but Ive been coloring my hair dark for 12 years. Thats a lot of layers of dye, so I have to take care of my hair. I use the Olaplex mask two times a week, and it makes my locks silky.

In high school I was the only girl on a wrestling team of all boys. It taught me to find my unique skills and use them to my advantage. I was quick, and that meant I was often faster than my male opponents, even if they were stronger.

I swipe on red lipstick when I want to create a bold look. As a female athlete, Im always sweating and working out. So when I get a chance to put on makeup, I try to take advantage of it. Its nice to feel feminine.

Before a match, my ritual is to put on water-resistant sunscreen, tie up my hair in a bun or ponytail, then listen to one song. If I win, I listen to that same song before every single match during that tournament.

On the court, I dress quite conservatively. I am focused only on the match. But off it, I like to try new things and experiment with different styles of clothes. Right now Im a big fan of streetwear, like hoodie sweatshirts and sporty dresses.

I dont get much time off, so when I do, I want to make it count. On a recent trip to Rome, I made a point of seeing the sights, like St. Peters Basilica and the Sistine Chapel.

Turns out, your skin and hair love lemons, too. Lemons have a wide range of beauty benefits. Here are the best beauty uses for lemons:

Lemons have strong antibacterial properties, which makes them perfect for nixing breakout-causing bacteria. To DIY your own version, mix a few drops of coconut water with a few drops of lemon juice. The coconut will hydrate your skin, and lemon will clear and brighten it.

Lemons are packed with vitamin C, a natural brightening ingredient. "If your elbows and knees appear dark, simply rub them with half of a lemon," says Patrice Coleman, owner of DaBlot Beauty. "It's like magic!"

It might sound too good to be true, but lemons can also help treat your blackheads. This is because they contain citric acid, a natural form of <a href="https://www.womenshealthmag.com/beauty/a19183960/alpha-hydroxy-acid/" id="b33d1926-88ac-36fb-a839-7b94519ceec6"> alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) </a> . After cleansing, rub a slice a lemon over your most blackhead-ridden spots (typically your T-zone) to let the AHAs work their pore-clearing magic.

"I like to mix a couple drops of lemon and tea tree essential oil in about six ounces of distilled water. I recommend it as a toner or for use with cotton pads as a cleansing wipe for problematic skin," says Becky Sturm, founder of StormSister Spatique. Does at-home whitening leave your teeth sensitive for days? Try this instead: Mix baking soda and lemon juice, and apply it to your teeth with a clean Q-tip. Then, use your toothbrush to scrub your teeth and rinse.

Lemons are rich in vitamin C and citric acid, so they can help brighten and lighten your skin when used over time. "Vitamin C is a great antioxidant for neutralizing free radicals and boosting collagen production," says Marina Peredo, MD, a dermatologist. That means it can help lighten dark spots.

Just remember to wear SPF when using lemon juice on your skin, though, since the citrus fruit can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays.

Lemon is great for reducing excess oil.

Put a little lemon juice on your lips before bedtime, and wash it off in the morning to help remove dead skin cells and dried skin. One caveat: "Obviously, if you already have severely chapped lips that have any cuts, do not try this," says Gary Goldfaden, M.D., a dermatologist.

Have you been getting too many gel manicures? Make a mixture of your favorite cooking oil (try olive oil) with lemon juice, and soak your nails. This is a good practice if your nails are dry and brittle, but it's also a great way to help fix nails that have yellowed.

Score dye-free DIY highlights with lemon juice. Apply it before you expose your hair to sunlight to score a sun-kissed color. The lemon juice can also help treat a dry scalp and dandruff, so apply it liberally.

Im envious of women who enjoy working out, because I have the worst attitude about it, Eva admitted to Women's Health. My vanity gets me to the gym-and obviously health reasons-but Im kicking and screaming the whole way through. Hey, if exercising helped get me that glow, I'd keep going back, too.
