One of KTN’s popular reporter has narrated an emotional story on how he escaped death last Saturday after he was involved in a nasty road accident.

Dennis Onsarigo, who heads the Investigative desk at KTN, shared the horrific encounter on his Instagram account while still recuperating at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.

According to the prolific investigative journalist, he had gone out bicycle riding on a major road when he noticed a truck that was overlapping towards his path.

Onsarigo further recalled that the vehicle kept coming towards his direction while increasing pace to the extent that he was only a few inches from being the honking truck.

As he quickly attempted to move out of the bicycle path to give way to the heavy vehicle, the journalist lost control of his bike and landed head-first.

Onsarigo further narrated that he was rushed to hospital where he underwent a six-hour surgery, having fractured his collar bone.
