Instagram being one of the most preferable social media channels for the younger generation, has helped upcoming artistes gain a larger audience and have massive following.

Crazy Kennar

Crazy Kennar is one of the funniest vine creators we have in the country. Kennar who runs Tales of the Crazy Kennar, is a student at JKUAT University who creates vines and parody videos. He is creative, unique and one of the promising young comedians in Kenya. The sky is not the limit for him.

Flaqo

Flaqo Raz (flizzy) is a jack of all trades. He is a dancer, a comedian and a singer. Flaqo started doing his comedy in August last year as a passion then his content started going viral. One of the videos that helped him garner recognition and followers was the one where he imitated Eko Dydda and Khaligraph Jones praying for food.

He acts as Mama Otis, a woman whose character is as that of a typical African mother and Bakari Kwayamasta, who sings renditions of songs like ‘Parte after parte’ and ‘Figa’ by ethic.

Flaqo is one entertaining human being though he says that he is not funny but childish and immature. He recently, released his first music video Stress Mingi, and damn, his vocals are mind blowing.

Chebet Ronoh

Chebet Ronoh is one of the youngest female Instagram comedians who is making big moves in the comedy industry. She is bold, funny, crazy and as real as it can get. Ronoh rants about all manner of everyday stuff that people go through, especially women. She is the peoples favorite and the queen of Instagram comedy.

She also has a YouTube Channel called GreatDay Channel which has over 50k subscribers.

George kimani

George Kimani is a comedian and part of the trio under the Vines of Africa brand with the other two being Seth Gor and Sharon Mwangi.

He loves making fun of women; their wigs, sponsors and the issues women put men through. The cute guy is a combination of brains, good looks and his sense of humor will definitely crack you up.

Henry Desagu

Henry Desagu whose real name is Ithagu Kibicho, is one of the popular comedians in Kenya. He is funny, creative, innovative and his voice only, can make you laugh.

Desagu is known to take on the role of the common “mwananchi” facing daily struggles, drawing inspiration from real-life scenarios in Mwihoko, Githurai.

His big break came when his video on team mafisi Press Conference went viral. Since then he has been posting more of his awesome content online.

He recently won the YouTube Silver award which is normally awarded to creative content creators worldwide.

George Kagwe

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know of George Kagwe who acts as an ‘Mpesa lady’ who’s always in a bad mood. He has become an online sensation and a favorite among ladies.

Seth Gor

Seth Omunga Gor, is one of the best Instagram viners we have. His videos depict the day to day lives of young Kenyans and the struggles they go through. Seth is very talented and creative and he can turn anything into a joke. His facial expressions are a rib cracker too.

The actress is popular for her Instagram handle Ministry Through Comedy where she posts mainly comic videos that mirror Kenyan mothers. She is popularly known for 'plesdent Kingstone' vines. Her talent has earned her a spot in the Groove Awards 2019 nominees under the Online/Digital Personality of The Year category.

Is a high schooler who uploads short videos on YouTube of high school memories, from how noisemakers complain, how people make announcements and the mess that goes on in the kitchen and the serving points. She will remind you of the memorable and unforgettable times in high school.
