NTVs comedy show Auntie Boss actress Nice Wanjeri popularly known as Shiro has won a prestigious international award.
In a post she shared on her Instagram page, Shiro who rose to fame due to her outstanding acting skills that bring out the wanted ‘shadiness’ in her role on the TV program disclosed that she won the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) Best Actress in Comedy (Movie/TV series) 2018.
Speaking after she was handed the award in a ceremony held in Nigeria, Ms. Wanjeri said that it was her first time winning an award and also thanked all who voted for her.
“I want to thank everyone who voted. This is my first time boarding a plane and I came to Nigeria and my first time to win an award thank you my executive producers Eve D’ Souza and Lucy Mwangi for believing in me. !” said Shiro.
