A source who spoke to Pulselive.co.ke on condition of anonymity, has disclosed that Capital FM has fired all its “Hits Not Homework” presenters barely a year after hiring them.

The three; Anita Nderu, Tracy Wanjiru and DJ Jo Kisila, who were hired to replace Amina Abdi Rabar have been let go on grounds that the show has flopped.

The mentioned that Capital had poached Neville from Homeboyz radio to take over the Hits not homework that has been losing its popularity over time.

Capital in the Morning

Amina switched roles at Capital to host the breakfast show “Capital in the Morning” alongside Maqbul, paving way for the new set of presenters after a five years run.

On the other hand, Anita Nderu also shifted departments from a news anchor at Capital to “Hits not Homework”. Her counterpart Tracy Wanjiru was poached from NTV where she hosts “Teen Republik” alongside Martin Kimathi. It's not yet clear, if the four will be allocated other duties at the Chris Kirubi owned media house.

The Capital One

Anne Mwaura and DJ Jo Kisila were brought on board following “The Capital One Talent search” a competition that aimed at scouting for new talents.

Before joining Capital, Ann worked at an online radio station called ‘Unverified Radio’ where she hosted ‘The Happy Hour Show’ from 5-7 pm.

Before Amina took over Hits Not Homework, it used to be in the hands of Joey Muthengi who later left for Tusker Project Fame.

And prior to Joey, Eve D’Souza hosted the show before leaving it to focus on her production company called Moonbeam Productions which produces popular sitcom Auntie Boss.
