Another Capital FM Presenter quits, as they bring in Joey Muthengi

Capital FM Presenter Maqbull has bid goodbye to his listeners after holding it down on the airwaves for the past 12 years.

On Friday, May 31, 2019, Maqbull who used to host the Breakfast984 alongside Amina Abdi Rabar held his last show at the Chris Kirubi owned station.

Riding Solo

His announcement comes hours after Amina had mentioned that she was going to remain solo on the show.

Cess Mutungi's Exit

Maqbull’s exit from Breakfast984 comes at a time The Jam984 host Cess Mutungi had also announced her exit.

Cess will be replaced by former 10 over 10 host Joey Muthengi. On Wednesday, Cess thanked her fans for showing her tremendous love for a whole decade and making her show “the Jam98.4” a success.
