Divorces are generally on the rise in Africa unlike in the past. The hardest of this divorces is those involving celebrities because all their lives are in the open and the public will always have something to say about it.
Here is a list of celebrities who parted ways with their partners;

Foreign Affairs Chief Administrative Secretary Ababu Nawamba is reported to have parted ways with the mother of his children Priscah Mwaro after he was alleged to have had an affair with her niece and two other university students.
Reports said that Priscah left their matrimonial home and is currently living alone.
Amber Ray and Zaheer Jhanda

Socialite Faith Makau popularly known as Amber Ray is the latest celebrity to separate with her politician husband Zaheer Jhanda. In an announcement on her Instagram page, Amber announced that she had parted ways with the politician hubby and did not want to be linked to him or his family in any way.

This celebrity power couple parted ways earlier in the year after Zari Hassan accused Diamond Platnumz of cheating several times on her.
She said that she wanted to save her reputation adding that they would continue to co-parent as they had sired two children in their relationship.
Tina Kagia and JB Masanduku

Tina and JB got married in 2013 and were blessed with two children. However, according to Tina their marriage collapsed because JB had a drinking problem and could disappear for days without any contact to his family.
She went on to say that the circumstances made her suicidal and violent.

Nyce Wanjeri’s husband Titus Wagithomo left fans shell-shocked after announcing that it was over for the two on Facebook.
He attributed the demise of their marriage to success that caused absenteeism, lack of bonding and lack of family time. They separated after being together for 9 years!

Former Lead singer of the Yamoto Band Aslay Isihaka aka Aslay said that he had broken up with his baby mama Tessy Chocolate.
According to the singer, they both settled on a mutual decision to separate as lovers, but continue co-parenting in order to bringing up their daughter.
