Singer Abdul Naseeb Juma aka Diamond Platnumz disappointed a section of his fans and Journalists who had turned up to cover his hyped press conference after failing to address his much publicized breakup with Tanasha Donna.

On Wednesday, Journalists converged at Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam, seeking answers to his alleged breakup, but it turned out that the event was meant to unveil him as the new brand ambassador of Coral Paints (Tanzania), under its parent company, Insignia Limited.

Reporters the presser tried to trick him to address his alleged breakup, but he just ignored the questions.

Speaking about his new role as the Coral Paints ambassador the Jeje hit-maker said “Kwanza niwapongeze kampuni hii kwa kutimiza miaka 30 maana unajua miaka 30 ndo miaka yangu mimi, kwa hiyo wakati mimi nazaliwa ndo hii kampuni inaanza. Katika miaka hiyo 30 wametoa ajira kwa Watanzania, unajua kabla nikubali kitu naangalia kwanza kama kina faida kwa Watanzania. Ni nafasi kubwa na siku zote nikipata fursa ya kufanya kazi na Kampuni natangaza kweli. Nikiwa kama kijana anaye fanya kazi ya Sanaa, nataka kufanya kazi chanya, na kampuni kama hii kusema inafanya kazi na Diamond ni jambo nzuri”.

The new ambassadorial deal makes the WCB CEO one of the most sort after brand influencers in East Africa.

Ambassadorial deals

In September last year he was again appointed as the brand ambassador of “NiceOne” new powder soap in Tanzania.

Before that he had been unveiled as the face of Parimatcha a betting company in Tanzania.

In January 2019, he was appointed as the Pepsi Brand Ambassador in East Africa a deal that saw him pocket millions of shillings.

Apart from the Pepsi deal, Diamond is also the Brand Ambassador of Belaire Rose, a French sparkling wine produced in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of the South of France
