Diamond meets Rich Mavoko for the first time after 'leaving' Wasafi Records

Mavoko accused WCB of unfair treatment

WCB President Diamond Platnumz has met singer Rich Mavoko for the first time, after reports indicated that he had left Wasafi Records.

The two met at the National Arts Council, Tanzania known to many as BASATA on Thursday after Mavoko launched a complaint against WCB claiming that his contract had a problem.

The meeting follows a series of reports that have been saying that Rich Mavoko had ditched the high flying Tanzanian music label owned by music sensation Diamond Platnumz, WCB.

WCB summoned

After he presented his case to BASATA a few days ago, the WCB management was summoned to the BASATA offices and a date was set to help solve the impasse that had stopped Mavoko from producing any further music.

Diamond’s manager

In a recent interview with a local radio station, Diamond Platnumz’s manager Sallam SK explained that Rich Mavoko was still a signee of WCB and all they were looking forward to was a sit down with him and BASATA officials so that they could sort out the issues raised in his concerns.
