Tanasha and Diamond’s mum share a birthday and the two will be celebrating it in a ‘Great Gatsby’ themed party at the Mlimani City shopping mall on Sunday 7th July.
Just like the movie the party theme is based on, the soiree promises all the trappings of the roaring 20s with a swanky venue, glamorous outfits and champagne towers.
“I think it will be a grand and unique party, something that people in Dar es Salaam have never seen,” Tanasha promised, piquing the interests of the entertainment world.
“I never thought that the woman of my life will share the same birthday with my mum, the most important people in my life, sharing a birthday? It’s a big day for me and I want to celebrate it to the fullest,” Diamond said.
Tanasha could also not hide her excitement about the upcoming celebration.
“When I learnt that I share a birthday with my mother-in-law I was very excited. 707 will be a huge celebration and will be very different from my past birthdays as it’s my first time celebrating a birthday in Tanzania,” Tanasha said.
Diamond’s mum also shared Tanasha’s sentiments about sharing a birthday and said that the fact that they share a birthday could be the reason why they get along so well.
“Ninavyofikirianga birthday yangu huwaga na furaha sana sana sana lakini mwaka huu naona kama imezidi kwa sababu nimezaliwa siku moja na mkwe wangu Tanasha…..sasa ndio nimegundua kwa nini mimi na Tanasha tunapendana!” she said.
