Eric Omondi receives special invite to perform in US

Comedian Eric Omondi has received a special invite from the office of the Kenyan Ambassador to USA, requesting him to grace the Annual Madaraka Day gathering in Baltimore, USA.

A letter shared on his Instagram, requires Omondi to be in the US on June 8th 2019, at the Hermes Center, to celebrate this year’s Madaraka day with the Diaspora community.

“Dear Eric

We are pleased to invite you to participate at the Baltimore Madaraka Day celebrations, organized by the Diaspora Baltimore Community. The event is scheduled for June 8th 2019.

The celebrations will be held at the The Hermes Center of St. Demetrio’s 2504 Club Hill Road, Parville, 21234, MD United States.

Every year the event is attended by a huge number of Diasporans based in Baltimore, and to have you as one of our guests would be an honour to the people who will be thre and the whole organization” reads part on the invite Letter.

The self-declared President of Comedy in Africa expressed his joy upon landing on the letter, promising to deliver.

“Being PRESIDENT is not easy but you've got to deliver to the people!!! Just received an official letter from the office of Ambassador of Kenya to the USA requesting me to Grace the Annual Madaraka Day Gathering in Baltimore. We need a private jet guys!!! Baltimore See you in two” Said Eric Omondi.

Best African Comedian

In October last year, the former Churchchill show was crowned the best African Comedian at the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA) held in New Jersey.

Eric came up against the likes of Nigeria’s Basketmouth and Salvado from Uganda among others.

The former Churchill show comedian has established himself on the international platform through various events and funny stunts abroad.
