Janet Mbugua recently went into mama bear mode after a fan urged her to get more traditionally masculine toys for her son instead of a teddy boy.

“Get him to carry a toy car instead of a teddy bear considering he is a boy. Looking good,” wrote @Alvin_yert.

To which Janet replied with “Hun, they should carry whatever makes them happy! He’s got a million cars, he just gets cuddly too!”

Thinking that Janet was combative @Alvin_yert replied with “It was on a light note and not a subject to be debated. Am also a mother of a girl and boy.”

Janet, however, lost her cool and replied with “It’s my response and I don’t see that I responded to you in a combative way. We can and should raise our children how we want. You can’t look at one photo and assume to have the picture. Facts only. Thanks.”

purity__fine_grand_: Every mother knows whats best for their child, who said boys don't need cuddly teddys I have 2 sons and in my house I have several teddys, my seven year has outgrown but he used to keep them in bed ,in fact he gave them names and they were his roommates because since 6 months he has his own bedroom...just be a mother to your child your way
