Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe is said to have handed in her resignation from the Royal Media Services (RMS) Citizen TV.
A source close to Maribe spoke to Pulselive.co.ke and said that she forwarded her resignation letter this week.
The mother of one is said to have alluded to personal reasons for her decision to leave the S.K. Macharia owned Citizen TV.
This comes a few months after Ms Maribe was released on bail by the High Court following her arrest as a suspect in the murder of business woman Monica Kimani who was found murdered in her apartment in Kilimani.
During the bail ruling, Justice James Wakiaga restricted Jacque Maribe from reading the news, conducting interviews and making comments related to the murder trial until the case was concluded.
She later on returned to work as a news editor at Citizen TV.
Prior to that, Maribe worked as Friday night 9pm bulletin anchor alongside Waihiga Mwaura and also doubled up as a senior political reporter with the TV station.
Our efforts to reach Ms Maribe for a comment on the same hit a dead end, as her phone went unanswered.
