Former NTV presenter Jahmby Koikai has disclosed that she was rushed to hospital again and she underwent another surgery on the eve of her birthday.
In a message on Instagram, Jahmby who has been undergoing treatment in the US was rushed on an emergency after leaks were discovered in her chest.
She went on to say that she was not in any danger after the operation and was recuperating well.
“Hey fam. So on the eve of my birthday, i was rushed to the Emergency. Found leaks in the chest area, right lung area that immediately called for surgery. I just got out of the operating room. It went well. Now in the recovery ward. We thank God for His mercy, love and grace. So i have a tube draining out. Thank God it's just one tube, that's gone through my right breast, uchungu noma ajaab but haina noma. I've had several before. I'm in praise mode thanking God. He's been great to me. Just a minor setback...you know the comeback is loading,” wrote Jahmby on Instagram.
Treatment in Atlanta
Faya Mama as most reggae lovers know her has been on treatment since February 2018 and she has been giving updates on her health condition every time.
She was diagnosed with endometriosis, a disease she has been battling from the age of 13 years.
She earlier revealed that she had already undergone over 10 surgeries because of endometriosis.
