Royal Media Services (RMS) Radio Citizen has appointed a new boss, after the departure of Joyce Gituro.

In the new appointment, Jeridah Andayi who currently hosts Jambo Kenya alongside comedian Mwala was named the new Head of Radio, taking over from her close friend Joyce Gituro who left for Milele FM.

Speaking on her new job, Ms. Andayi said that heading Radio Citizen was no mean task and that she was asking God for guidance.

“Thank you my brother  for the cake. This is God's doing. Heading is no mean feat. I ask God to go ahead. , my all-time Woman crush, all the best. You've set the pace. Much love,” she wrote on her Instagram page.

Jeridah Andayi’s appointment followed the departure of Joyce wa Gituro who headed the S.K Macharia owned radio station.

Ms. Gituro left together with comedian Wilbroda and former Jambo Kenya host Francis Luchivya.
