Tanzanian R&B king has crossed over into Kenya to team up with legendary 254 artiste Nyashinski for a new release called “Incase You Don’t Know”.
The love jam brewed over respective trips from Kenya to Tanzania between the two culminated in this reflective serenade that got the best from the leading East African stars.

Speaking upon the release of his first song of 2019, Jux says, “Incase You Don’t Know” is not just a love song but a reflection on the power of love. Whether it’s your partner, your child or mum— this song is for all the lovers.” Adding on his choice of collaboration Juma said, “Nyashinski is a brilliant artist who takes time to produce quality work. We both have been checking out each other’s songs for some time. I had a feeling if he got on the track, he would add something unique to the song. He did a great job and we finally shot the music video with Hanscana from Nairobi.”
Bigger moves
2019 is Jux first year off school, following his graduation last year. “Incase You Don’t Know” is Jux’s first release of the year. He attests that 2019 will be his year of bigger moves and releases. You best believe it! Jux is also one of Tanzania’s top stars featured on the brand new season of Coke Studio Africa, which has premiered across East Africa and multiple other African countries from last weekend (9th Feb 2019). On Coke Studio, Jux will be performing and recording another killer love ballad alongside Shelly Baronet a Mozambican singer.
The top bongo R&B sensation has an impeccable style and sound, with his songs “Fimbo”,”Zaidi”, “Utaniua”, “Zaidi”, “Wivu” and “Juu” featuring Vanessa Mdee topping the charts. For many years, Jux has been balancing a career in music and business as the CEO and Founder of renowned fashion brand: African Boy. In 2015, he bagged an award for Best R&B song at Kili Music Awards (Tanzania). 2018 saw him orchestrate one of Tanzania’s biggest independent tours ‘In Love with Money’ alongside East African Pop Queen and his partner: Vanessa Mdee.
