Kenyan singer and music producer Kagwe Mungai has caught many by surprise after he said that weddings are a waste of time.

The singer who was speaking to Pulselive’s Carolina Carlz said that he will not have a wedding because it is just a waste of time and it is just a big party for nothing when only the two of you are in a relationship.

“There are guys who take loans to do weddings, it doesn’t have to be that way,” said the singer.

The Taurus Musik producer went ahead and said that it does not have to be a show at all and that it will be putting pressure on your friends and family members financially just to show people that you are happy.

“Just be happy, be in your relationship and be happy you don’t have to go through all that stress to show people that you are happy,” said Kagwe.

The singer said he believes in relationships but he does not like the way most people do their relationships.

“Relationships are weird,” he said.
