Former Citizen TV news anchor Kirigo Ng’arua has given an update on Jacque Maribe, a few months after she quit Citizen TV.

Kirigo in a post on her Insta-stories shared a picture with Ms Maribe saying that she was doing fine despite her long absence from the public.

“@jacquemaribe is well..for all those who asked about her,” wrote Kirigo.

Her words came shortly after she had asked most of her followers to ask her any question through Instagram’s question feature.

After leaving Citizen, Maribe has kept off social media and very little is known about her whereabouts and how she is fairing on. The little that is out only comes when her friends share pictures together with her on social media.

Resigns

Three months ago, journalist Jacque Maribe handed in her resignation from the Royal Media Services (RMS) Citizen TV.

A source close to Maribe told Pulselive.co.ke that she forwarded her resignation letter in which she alluded to personal reasons for her decision to leave the S.K. Macharia owned Citizen TV.

At the time of her resignation, the former screen siren worked as an Editor at Citizen TV.

Prior to that, Maribe worked as Friday night 9pm bulletin anchor alongside Waihiga Mwaura and also doubled up as a senior political reporter with the TV station.
