University Student commits suicide, leaves behind Note

So Sad!!!

On Monday, a fourth year student at Kisii University committed suicide a few meters from the Keroka Technical Training Institute, where he was attached.

The 24 year-old, identified as Ronald Misiani Oira, hanged himself on a tree, leaving behind a suicide note.

According to Borangi Location chief, Alice Moige, the late Oira who was pursuing a Bachelors of Information and Technology degree, was found dangling from a rope tied to a tree located near the technical college.

His Body was moved to Gucha District Hospital.

The cause of his suicidal mission remains unknown, as the suicide note left behind was taken by the Police officers but they are yet to reveal the contents of the note.

Keroka Technical Training Institute principal, Joseph Kawala, disclosed that the student(Oira) completed his industrial attachment last semester.

The Principal described the late Oira as a calm learner who always took his work seriously.
