NRG owner Kevin Mulei has been confirmed as the recipient of the Prestigious African Entertainment Promoter Award for the Year 2019 by “The Voice Achievers Awards”.

Mulei has officially joined the list of African leaders, Presidents and Ambassadors who have won an Achievers Award.

Kevin who is a former DJ has been running the most prestigious Gospel Awards Ceremony in Africa-Groove Awards for 14 years. He also runs NRG Radio, Choice Radio, FunX, Film Studios and MoSound Events.

Outstanding men and women

The Awards Ceremony will be held in Africa (Nairobi) for the first time come August 16th, 2019. The Voice Achievers Awards that tend to recognize outstanding men and women who have made substantial contribution towards the advancement of Africa and its people, began Eight (8) years ago.

The Voice Achievers has recognized over 200 persons over the period of 8 years. Amongst the previous Awardees are former President Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia; Former First Lady of The Gambia, Lady Zeinab Suma Jammeh; Mrs Fatou Bensouda, the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal court, President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone ; Hrh Princess Moradeun Adedoyin-Solarin Dr Lanalee Araba Sam, First Robotic Surgeon in Florida and Hrh Muzvare Betty Makoni, Foremost Girl-Child Rights Advocate & Top CNN Hero among others.

Winners

Others who will also be receiving awards come August 16th 2018 are;Hon. Raila Odinga, Ababu Namwama (African Inspirational Leadership Award), Ambassador Dr. Josephine Ojiambo (Life Time Achievers Award), Angel Wanjiry Ngugi (Against all Odds Award), Bishop Arthur Kiting (African Courgeous Award), Big Ted (African Business Support Award) Connie Aluoch, Bishop Dawn Simba Willis, Elias Makori, Eva Nakato, Esther Passaris, Kifefe Kizza Besigye, Kivutha Kibwana among others.
