NRG Radio owned by Kevin Mulei of MOsound, has bid goodbye to their Breakfast show hosts Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe who are headed to Kiss 100.
In photos shared on Instagram, the NRG management organized a special send off-party in studio where Kamene and Kibe gave their parting shot to listeners and colleagues.
The duo was also presented with a beautiful cake which they shared with their colleagues.
“It is official. @kamenegoroand @kibeandy are leaving. #NRGBreakfastClub. You lit this joint..We wish you all the best @kamenegoro and @kibeandy. #NRGBreakfastClub,” wrote NRG.
Big Blow
The exit of Kamene and Kibe is a big blow to NRG Breakfast Club, bearing in mind that they just launched other two Radio stations Fun X and Choices FM.
Since being launched in 2018, NRG Radio has witnessed commendable growth being the first visual radio station in Kenya and Africa.
The two (Kibe and Kamene) were poached by Radio Africa group to replace Adelle Onyango who hanged her boots after 7 years. Kiss 100 will be re-branding with a completely new studio.
