Details of Raila’s meeting with Obama

The meeting comes after Obama met Uhuru at State House

Former US President Barack Obama is expected to meet opposition leader Raila Odinga at a Nairobi hotel, after meeting President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House.

According to Citizen, the opposition Chief’s spokesperson Dennis Onyango said that Mr. Odinga and President Obama will meet at the Villa Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi, at 4pm and that access to the meeting will be restricted.

The meeting between the two comes hours after Obama landed in Kenya and held another meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House.

Obama in his two day tour will also visit his father’s home town K’Ogello in Siaya, where he will launch ‘Sauti Kuu’ an NGO started by his half-sister Dr. Auma Obama, before heading to South Africa.
